Seaweed on Rope
Kalk Bay Harbour, shooting with my long lens (100-400mm focal length). By using intentional camera movement (ICM) I captured objects seen in the harbour that other people don’t notice. Instead of capturing the obvious, namely boats, I photographed ropes, seaweed, life buoys, octopus and flecked snoek. I enjoyed seeing the unusual patterns that I created. The octopus was lying on the peer as well as fish and all were for sale. Each one tells a story.
