Shoreline Impressions
One day I walked along the banks of the Breede River with no tripod, just my camera and my long lens ( Canon 100-400mm). I felt the freedom of not carrying a big, heavy bag full of equipment and the best was not having to carry a tripod! It was early morning, there was no wind and all I could hear was the gentle lapping of water on the sand. Fast zoombursts were made to create abstract art. I spent 1 night in Yzerfontein to make art. In the early morning there was thick fog and I could not make any images or so I thought. I started walking along the beach and saw someone walking towards me. A long lens was used with ICM to capture the moment in time.
